Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Gardspace application and website, operated by The Citadel - Épopée SAS (SIREN 999 058 829), 66 Rue du Lieutenant Ricard, Chatou 78400, France. By using Gardspace, you agree to these terms in their entirety.

1. The service

Gardspace provides a professional childcare infrastructure — including Care Spaces, session documentation, Daily Reports, the Nanny Track Record (NTR), G-TRID identifiers, and the Passport PDF. A free tier is available for families using child tracking features without an active nanny. Professional features — including nanny invitation and active Care Space management — require a family subscription. Nanny accounts are currently offered at no charge.

2. Accounts and roles

Gardspace accounts are reserved for users aged 18 or over. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this minimum age requirement.

Gardspace has two roles: Family (Parent) and Professional (Nanny). A Care Space is created and owned by a Family account. Professional accounts join Care Spaces on invitation from a Family account. Each user is responsible for the accuracy of their account information and for maintaining the security of their credentials.

3. Content and data

Content logged in the Care Space — sessions, reports, photos, memories — belongs to the family. The nanny retains her NTR and G-TRID as her professional record. Neither party may use Gardspace to share illegal content or content that violates the rights of third parties.

Gardspace is an operational tool — not a medical platform. Any health or treatment information logged in the Care Space is entered under the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian. The Citadel - Épopée SAS assumes no liability for medical decisions made based on information logged in Gardspace.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Family subscriptions unlock professional features including nanny invitation and Care Space activation. A free tier is available for families using child tracking features without an active nanny. Nanny accounts are currently offered at no charge.

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (Apple) and Google Play Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and cancellation policies are governed by the respective platform's terms. The Citadel - Épopée SAS does not process payments directly.

Subscriptions grant access to the service for the purchased period. No refund or proration applies upon cancellation or non-renewal. Access to professional features continues until the end of the paid period.

4b. Care Space and account termination

Upon subscription cancellation, family access to professional features — nanny invitation and active session management — is suspended at the end of the paid period. Care Space data remains accessible in read-only mode.

Upon account deletion, the Care Space and all associated data are permanently deleted in cascade. See our Data Deletion page for the complete deletion timeline.

Upon nanny removal from a Care Space, the nanny's NTR accumulated during her active sessions is preserved in her professional record. She loses access to the Care Space immediately. The family retains full access to their Care Space history.

5. Intellectual property

The Gardspace application, design, vocabulary, and infrastructure — including the NTR and G-TRID systems — are the intellectual property of The Citadel - Épopée SAS. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the application for its intended purpose. No rights are transferred by this licence.

6. Limitation of liability

Gardspace is provided as-is. The Citadel - Épopée SAS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or damages arising from decisions made based on information logged in the application. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Versailles (78), France, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

8. Modifications to these terms

The Citadel - Épopée SAS reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via email or in-app notification with a minimum 30-day notice period before changes take effect. Continued use of Gardspace after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not accept the updated terms, you may delete your account before the changes take effect.
